Excursions

Dreaming of Patagonia? We'll help you make it real.

These are the excursions we recommend during your stay — from shared group tours to private, fully personal experiences. Tell us what you're drawn to and we'll gladly coordinate the bookings for you.

Excursions are informational only — they're run by certified local guides and trusted operators of the region, not by the guesthouse. We simply help you plan.

Full Day Torres del Paine

The classic — icons of the park in one day

A full-day drive through the park's scenic route, visiting its main viewpoints, lakes, waterfalls and wildlife areas — no long hikes required. Private tours add quieter corners like Laguna Azul, optional short hikes (Cuernos, Cóndor, Isla de los Hielos) and a private guide to read the landscape: guanacos, ñandúes, foxes, condors and — with luck — pumas.

Day Hikes in Torres del Paine

12 day-trails, from easy lookouts to the base of the Towers

Beyond the multi-day W and Paine circuits, the park hides superb one-day trails: the iconic Base of the Towers, Mirador Cóndor, Ferrier, Grey Glacier, Cuernos, Valle Francés and quieter walks like Cascada Pingo or Laguna Cebolla. Most can be done self-guided with a rental car — we'll design your route — or with certified guides.

Doing the W or the full circuit? Stay with us on arrival and on your return — we'll store your luggage safely while you're in the park.

Rates
Self-guided: $0 (car rental + park entrance only)

Balmaceda & Serrano Glaciers Cruise

Sails from the Puerto Bories pier — next door

The classic Natales sail, leaving from the pier right here in Puerto Bories. The boat runs the length of the Última Esperanza fjord — mountains, forests, waterfalls, cormorants and sea lions — to the hanging ice of Balmaceda Glacier, then a short forest walk to the lookout over Serrano Glacier and its meltwater lagoon.

Rates
CLP $180,000 / person — operated by Turismo 21 de Mayo

Kayak

Fjords · Laguna Sofía · Serrano river

Paddle the Patagonian landscape from water level: the fjords of Última Esperanza, Laguna Sofía, or descending the Serrano river inside the national park.

From CLP $150,000 — ask about availability and special programs

Day Hikes around Puerto Natales

The trails most visitors miss

Not everything happens inside the park. Less than half an hour from Natales you'll find magnificent, far quieter trails: Cerro Benítez and its condors, the 3,500-year-old rock art of Rupestre Patagonia, and Cerro Dorotea's sweeping view over the town and the fjord.

Rates
Self-guided: $0
Shared tour: from CLP $50,000 / person
Private tour: from CLP $300,000 (1–4 people)
Some sites add a small private-land entrance fee (~$10,000).

Grey Glacier Cruise

Three hours among icebergs

One of the most memorable experiences in Torres del Paine. After a 45-minute walk from Hotel Lago Grey you board the boat and sail among icebergs of every size and shade of blue, approaching the towering walls of Grey Glacier — one of the great arms of the Southern Ice Field — with the Paine massif all around.

Rates
CLP $110,000 / person — transport and park entrance not included

Estancia Day

Sheep-shearing, herding dogs & lamb al palo

Spend a day at a working Patagonian estancia: horseback rides, sheep-shearing and herding-dog demonstrations, and the traditional asado de cordero al palo. We'll match you with the right estancia — San Antonio, Laguna Sofía, Cerro Guido and more.
